The Load Development process
Once contact has been made and you have decided to continue.
First you will have to decide on a set of use parameters for the ammunition development (distance of shots, temp. it will be shot in, size of game ect. ect.).
Discussion about getting the firearm to me, the type of development, price of development and amount of deposit will be done.
Arrangements will be made for getting the firearm and deposit to me.
After receiving your firearm and deposit, a full inspection of the firearm and a initial firing will be done at 100 yards with standard (factory or factory equivalent) loads that meet your specified use parameters, to get a base line of accuracy.
To protect the firearm and take the human error out of the shots, a bench mounted recoil dampening remote trigger actuated shooting rest (a ransom rest) will be used throughout the whole process.
All materials for development that are not in my stock will be purchased.
First stage of development starts with taking all of the internal dimensions of the firearms chamber, bore size, rate of barrel twist, magazine length and so on.
Second stage is selecting components to match all of the dimensions taken from the firearm.
Third stage is assembling the components to fit the firearms dimensions.
Fourth stage is test firing, with sight and load adjustment for optimal accuracy
After all load development and testing produces an accurate load you will be notified and arrangements for the final loading will be made.
Of course this is just a rough overview of the process all aspects will be discussed in complete detail when you contact me.
